OSHI NO KO is celebrating Marine Day in 2025 with a special summer-themed visual featuring Ruby Hoshino at the beach. Marine Day (Umi no Hi) is also known as Ocean Day or Sea Day, and it’s celebrated on the third Monday of July in Japan.
Studio Doga Kobo also animated the first two seasons of the anime which is directed by Daisuke Hiramaki. Ciao Nekotomi was the assistant director, Kanna Hirayama was the character designer and Takuri Iga was the music composer. The cast includes:

- Yurie Igoma as Ruby Hoshino
- Megumi he as kana arima
- Manaka Iwami As Akane Kurokawa
- Rumi Okubo The Mem-Chos
- Lynn As Miyako Saito

OSHI NO KO is a manga series written by Aka Akasaka and illustrated by Mengo Yokoyari. It launched in April 2020 and was published by Shueisha in its Weekly Young Jump. The manga ended on November 14, 2024. Season 3 of the anime is currently in production and set to premiere in 2026. The live-action movie concluded the entire adaptation and released in theaters worldwide from December 2024.
