
On the official X account of the anime adaptation of “Blue Orchestra” (Japanese: “Ao No Orchestra”), it was recently announced that it will soon be continued with a second season. You can watch a first visual below.
Start in October 2025
The second season of “Blue Orchestra” is again under the direction of Seiji Kishi (“Radiant”) in the Nippon animation studio. Yuuko Kakihara (“Trapezium”) wrote the script, while Kazuaki Morita contributes the character design.
In the main roles of the Japanese speaker cast, Shouya Chiba (Hairi Takahara in »Summer Pockets«) as Hajime Aono and Shinba Tsuchiya (Ryouta Kuzuryu in »Shinkalion«) can be heard as Nao Saeki. The sequel, which will consist of a total of 21 episodes, starts on October 5, 2025 on Japanese television.
The Streaming Service ADN offers the 24-part first season, which ran in Japan from April to October 2023, with German subtitles on call.

Hajime Aono, once a violin wonder child, gave up the music after his parents divorced. A year later he meets Ritsuko Akine, a prospective violinist who thrives him again for the music with stories about a school with a famous orchestra.
