The streaming service Netflix announced new information on the second season of the live action adaptation of “One Piece” as part of its “Tudum 2025” event. We summarize all the details below.
Video introduces Chopper
The continuation of the real film is therefore only published in the course of 2026 and not as before by entertainment magazine Deadline reports this year. However, a specific date is still pending.
The new episodes adapt the “Loguetown Arc” from the “East Blue Saga” as well as the “Reverse Mountain Arc”, “Whiskey Peak Arc”, “Little Garden Arc” and “Drum Island Arc” from the “Arabasta saga”. The film recordings started in South Africa in July 2024 and are now completed.
The Tomorrow Studios are still responsible for the production of the second season, in which Joe Tracz, together with Matt Owens, works as a screenwriter, producer and showrunner. The latter withdraws from series production after completing the work for health reasons.
Below these lines you will find a new video in which the new character Chopper is presented for the first time, which complements the main cast around Iñaki Godoy (Ruffy), Mackenyu (Zorro), Emily Rudd (Nami), Jacob Romero Gibson (Lysopp) and Taz Skylar (Sanji).
