On May 25th, a day before their 10th debut anniversary, SEVENTEEN made history as the first Kpop act to hold a concert on Jamsu Bridge, which is located over the iconic Han River in Seoul. The Kpop powerhouse captivated fans with a special free concert titled “B-DAY PARTY: BURST Stage” and showcased their energetic and addictive performances, accompanied by colorful lights and fireworks.

While only 6,000 lucky CARATs could win the raffle and join the concert for free, some fans rented dolly boats and yachts along the Han River to catch a glimpse of the concert, eventually catching SEVENTEEN’s attention. Some fans gathered in the nearby parks and proudly raised their glowing lightsticks (caratbong) and banners. With this, SEVENTEEN expressed their admiration and heartfelt gratitude for the fans’ immense support for the event. The BURST STAGE was also made available to the public through live streaming via Weverse and HYBE Label’s official YouTube channel.

SEVENTEEN opened the stage by performing their newest title track “THUNDER” and “HBD” from their upcoming fifth full album, “HAPPY BURSTDAY,” scheduled for release on May 26th. During the group’s opening ment, Hoshi welcomed the fans and proudly said, We’re the first Kpop idols to perform on Jamsu Bridge, and it’s all thanks to our CARATs! Woozi, the group’s main producer, also shared, There was a time I doubted myself as a producer. But one day, inspiration struck like lightning — just like “THUNDER”. I hope you enjoy the song as it is.

After the debut stage for “THUNDER”, Mingyu introduced the concept behind their upcoming album and explained that “HAPPY BURSTDAY” is a playful combination of “happy birthday” and “burst”, which symbolizes the group’s explosive energy and desire in celebrating their 10th anniversary.

The concert went on for about 1 hour and 30 minutes, with SEVENTEEN performing a series of their hit songs: HOT, April Shower, Our Dawn is Hotter than Day, Headliner, Run to You, Rock With You, Together, God of Music, Eyes on you, and of course, it’s not a SEVENTEEN concert without the classic and ‘endless’ Aju Nice! After the show, Carats sang the ‘Happy Birthday’ song to celebrate the group’s debut anniversary.

Meanwhile, SEVENTEEN is set to release its fifth full-length album, “HAPPY BURTSDAY” at 6 PM KST on May 26th. The highly anticipated album features the title track “THUNDER”, group songs such as “HBD” and “Bad Influence,” and solo songs from all 13 members, including Jeonghan and Wonwoo who are currently serving in the military.
