S.Coups and Mingyu of Seventeen dropped the highlight medley of their first subunit EP on Monday
The two are bringing out the EP “Hype Vibes” on Sept. 29. It will be fronted by “5, 4, 3 (Pretty Woman) (feat. Lay Bankz),” taking a spin on Roy Orbison’s “Pretty Woman,” best known as the theme song for the 1990 hit movie of the same title.
The pair participated in writing all six tracks on the EP, which encompass a range of genres, from hip-hop and rock to electronic dance music. Last week, they invited a handful of fans for a listening party in Seoul jointly hosted by Meta.
Meanwhile, nine members of the 13-piece act — four are currently enlisted — will fly to Hong Kong, where they will hold concerts on Sept. 27-28. It will be their first stand-alone concert there in seven years.
