Shueisha’s Shonen Jump magazines have been going through some major changes through the year so far, and it seems like yet another franchise is getting ready for its own grand finale with the start of its final arc. Weekly Shonen Jump magazine has been getting a ton of attention this year as following losing two of its biggest franchises in quick succession in 2024, the magazine then continued this streak with even more franchises coming to their end in 2025. But while there have been a ton of stories coming to an end, Jump+ has been going through its own changes as well.

Shueisha’s Jump+ app in Japan has been ending a ton of series of its own with a number of cancellations recently hitting each of its series, but now one of its longest works is preparing for its own grand finale. Yu Hashimoto’s 2.5 Dimensional Seduction has officially announced that it has now kicked off its own final arc with the release of its newest chapter, so fans of the spicy romantic comedy series now need to get ready for yet another goodbye quickly coming our way.

Yu Hashimoto’s 2.5 Dimensional Seduction has released Chapter 194 of its manga this week (where you can find it for free with Shueisha’s MangaPlus service), and with it has officially confirmed it’s now begun it’s final arc. Titled “As the Angels Will It,” the chapter sees the central crew getting ready for their futures as many of them prepare to graduate. Masamune Okumura began the series as a boy who was only interested in 2D girls, but has really been questioning that over this time he’s spent with Lilysa and the rest of the growing manga club.

He’s been conflicted over whether or not he’s even capable of sharing love for another person, and is still held back by a darkness that keeps him from truly figuring it out. Although Lilysa and the others have done quite a lot to help, Okumura for his part is still confused. It’s even a bigger trouble for his childhood friend turned model admirer, Mikari Tachibana, who is starting to wonder what’s next for her life after she has loved Okumura in secret for so long and has no idea how to even more on from that. This is where the grand finale starts to take shape.

As Mikari wonders about her place in the future, the end of the chapter reveals that she stops coming to school as the first major event of 2.5 Dimensional Seduction‘s final arc. It’s yet to be revealed how much longer the series will be running for, but Yu Hashimoto first kicked off the series with Jump+ in 2019. The series now has six years under its belt, and will likely wrap up either towards the end of the year or early 2026 depending on how long the creator wants to play it out.

Jump+ has lost some key franchises that have ended this year already such as Kaiju No. 8.but there are still other key series in the app that are still drawing lots of attention like Spy x Family and And Da and. But it’s no secret that Shonen Jump on a whole is entering a whole new era, and many of these older series are likely going to start reaching their own finales in quick succession from here on out. So brace yourselves for what’s to come.
