Smiling Friends is gearing up for its highly anticipated comeback next month, and Adult Swim has revealed the best look at what’s coming in Season 3 with a special new trailer revealing its episode plans. Smiling Friends has undoubtedly become one of the biggest original animated hits to release with Adult Swim in the last few years, and the first two seasons have gone on to reach massive success with fans thus far. Now that the third is fast approaching, it’s highly likely that this next wave of episodes will be hitting those same heights from what has been shown thus far.
With Smiling Friends Season 3 premiering in just a couple of weeks, Adult Swim has dropped a special new teaser trailer for the season. This new teaser not only reveals each of the episode titles for the coming season, but also reveals special first looks at what to expect from each one as well. - “Le Voyage Incroyable de Monsieur Grenouille” – In this highly acclaimed award-winning fan favorite episode of Smiling Friends, a walking talking frog will change your life and rewire your brain.
- “Mole Man” – So apparently there’s a character called “mole man” or something like that in this episode? Okaayyy then! Allan and Glep team up for a quest that will blow your socks off.
- “Curse of the Green Halloween Witch” – AAAHHHHHHHH!!!!!!!!!!
- “Pim and Charlie Save Mother Nature” – It’s in the friggin title brother, read that and you’ll get an idea of what happens… peace.
- “Squim Returns” – After buying a magic mirror, Pim meets Squim. Meanwhile, Charlie starts “digging deep” and gets into some reeallilly bad internet stuff…like REALLY bad stuff. Not in a good or funny way. At ALL.
- “Shmaloogles” – Pim, Charlie, and Flint discover a new realm full of wacky characters that you’re absolutely gonna love. Although, something happens, and Pim now has his own adventure…huh?
- “The Glep Ep” – Finally we learn about Glep, one of the characters at Smiling Friends -the green one who sits on the bean bag and spits on the ground and stuff like that. *Growls at you*
How to Watch Smiling Friends Season 3
Smiling Friends Season 3 will be premiering with Adult Swim on October 5th at midnight, and will be streaming its new episodes with HBO Max the next day. The animated series has been such a hit with Adult Swim that the series has already been renewed through to both Seasons 4 and 5. It goes to show just how much confidence Adult Swim has in the young series, and really promises a bright future. Because while it’s a wait between each of the seasons, we’re at least confirmed to get two more batches.
It’s not always guaranteed that an Adult Swim show will go on for multiple seasons, but we’ve seen some big successes from the platform being rewarded lately with these big renewals like Common Side Effects as well.
