On the official X account of the anime adaptation of “Betrothed to My Sister’s Ex”, it was announced today that it will be broadcast on Japanese television from July 4, 2025. You can find a new trailer and a visual below.

“Betrothed to My Sister’s Ex” is produced under the direction of Takayuki Kitagawa (“Tokyo 7th Sisters”) at Landq Studios. Kenta Ihara (“Blue Miburo”) writes the script and Akiko Satou (“Trigun Stampede”) creates the character design.
The opening song »Gesshoku«, which can be heard in the trailer, comes from the Japanese singer Krage (ending of »Solo Leveling« and »Raven of the Inner Palace«), while Myuk contributes the ending song »Marie«.
The original Romance Novel of the same name from Tobirano has been published in Japanese trade with illustrations by Mai Murasaki since April 2020. A manga implementation of Chikage Nakakura started in July 2021 in the “Gaugau Monster” magazine.
