The streaming service Crunchyroll announced today that the anime implementation of “Let’s Play” will be broadcast on Japanese television from October 1, 2025. You can see a new trailer below.
Anime from Studio Olm
The anime adaptation of “Let’s Play” is being created under the direction of director Daiki Tomiyasu (“Pokémon: The Arceus Chronicles”) in Studio Olm. Aya Matsui (“Dragon Ball: The Way to Power”) wrote the script.
The opening song with the title “1, 2, Play”, which can be heard in the trailer, comes from the Japanese singer Toshinobu Kubota, who also contributes the ending song, which is entitled “Left & Right”. Crunchyroll shows the series in this country in the Simulcast.
The original webtoon of the same name by Leeanne M. Krecic was published on webtoons.com from 2016 to 2022 and is available there in German. In addition, the LYX publishing house is trading the work as a print edition.
