On the X-Account The anime implementation of “Call of the Night” (Japanese: “Yofukashi No Uta”) was announced today that the second season on July 4, 2025 will start on Japanese television. You can find a new visual below.
Sequel of Lidenfilms
The new episodes are once again produced under the direction of Tomoyuki Itamura (“The Case Study of Vanitas”) in the Lidenfilm studio. Michiko Yokote wrote the script again, while Haruka Sagawa contributes the design of the characters.
In the main roles of the Japanese speaker cast, Sora Amamiya (Chizuru ichinosis in “Rent-A-Girlfriend”) as Nazuna Nanakusa and Satou (Haruto Satou in “Tales of Wedding Rings”) can be heard as Kou Yamori.
The 13-part first season, which, like the sequel on the Manga series of the same name by Kotoyama, was published by the publisher Peppermint anime with German and Japanese voice output on DVD and Blu-ray.

Kou is a student who struggles with everyday life and cannot sleep at night. When he roams the streets aimlessly one evening, he meets Nazuna, a mysterious vampire. It shows him the hidden world of the night – free of rules, noise and daylight. The more time he spends with her, the more the desire to become a vampire grows in him. But he has to fall in love with her honestly.
