
On the official X-account of the anime adaptation of “Freezing: Beyond Journey’s End” it was announced today that the second season will be broadcast on Japanese television from January 16, 2026. You can watch a new visual below.

The sequel is again under the direction of Tomoya Kitagawa (Chief Episode Director of the first season) in the Madhouse studio. Tomohiro Suzuki (“One Punch Man”) wrote the script, while Akiko Takase and Keisuke Kojima create the character design and Evan Call is responsible for the music composition.
In the main roles of the Japanese speaker cast, Atsumi Tanezaki (Anya Forger in “Spy X Family”) as freezers and Kana Ichino (Uka Ishimori in “Honey Lemon Soda”) can be heard away. Crunchyroll shows the sequel to the Simulcast.
The first season 28 episodes, which ran from September 2023 to April 2024 and was created under the direction of Keiichirou Saitou (“Bocchi the Rock!”) At Madhouse, is already available entirely on call and is already available on DVD and Blu-ray. A new Collector’s Edition is planned for October 2025.
