Anime by Studio OLM
The anime adaptation of “The Cat and the Dragon” is being directed by Jin-Koo Oh (“Tonbo!”) at Studio OLM. Mitsutaka Hirota (“Rent-A-Girlfriend”) is writing the script, while Rie Nishino and Chiaki Kurakaz are doing the character design.
The main role of the Japanese voice cast is Takehito Koyasu (Zeke in “Attack on Titan”) as Nekoryuu. Further details, such as the voices of the other characters, are still pending. We’ll keep you updated.
The original light novel of the same name written by Amara has been published in Japan since April 2016 with illustrations by Mai Ookuma. A manga adaptation by Izumi Sasaki debuted on the “Kono Manga ga sugoi!” website in September 2017.

The story is about a fire-breathing, misanthropic dragon who was raised by a mother cat in the forest. As “Uncle Wing,” he takes care of many curious cats – such as one traveling with a prince or one that lives in the city – and gradually begins to like people.
