At the AniPlex Online Fest 2025 it was announced today that the anime adaptation of “Dark Moon: The Blood Altar” will be broadcast on Japanese television from January 2026. You can find a teaser below.

“Dark Moon: The Blood Altar” is created under the direction of Shouko Shiga (Episode Director near “Atri”) in the Studio Troyca. Touko Machida (“Vampire Dormitory”) wrote the script, while Masami Inomata contributes the character design.
In the main roles of the Japanese cast, Kikunosuke Toya (Denji in »Chainsaw Man«) as Heli and Shuugo Nakamura (Gin Gagamaru in »Blue Lock«) can be heard as Jino. The streaming service Crunchyroll shows the series in the Simulcast.
The underlying South Korean manhwa of Hybe was released from January 2022 to October 2023 in 71 chapters with drawings by Henie and Rangddo on Naver Webtoon. The series is based on the popular K-pop group Enhypen.
