On the X-account of the anime adaptation of »Otherworldly Munchkin: Let’s Speedrun the Dungeon with ONLY 1 HP« (Japanese: »Isekai Munchkin«), it was announced today that the series had to be postponed. We summarize the details.

“Otherworldly Munchkin: Let’s Speedrun the Dungeon with ONLY 1 HP” is therefore not to be seen on Japanese television as originally planned from October 2025, but only at a later point in time. The reason for this are concerns about the quality of previous work.
The Studio Durandal is responsible for the production of the series, which is shown in this country at Crunchyroll in the Simulcast, in which Naoya Fukushi (“I got a cheat skill in another world”) and Kei Yoshimizu (“Tatakae”) direct.
The original manga series of the same name by Aogiri Makoto and Yuu Shimizu has been published in the “Suiyoubi No Sirius” magazine in Japan since February 2019. The work is available by Kodansha USA with English translation.

16-year-old Yukito Kirihara lives with his beloved sister Sana. As an ogre appears to get Sana, Yukito sacrifices and dies.
