On the official X account of the new anime implementation of »Ranma 1/2« it was announced today that the second season will start on Japanese television in October 2025. You can find a first trailer below.

The second »Ranma 1/2« relay is again under the direction of Kounosuke Uda (»Hinomaru Sumo«) in the Mappa studio. Kimiko Ueno (“Delicious in Dungeon”) writes the script again, while Hiromi Taniguchi contributes the character design.
In the main roles of the Japanese cast, Kappei Yamaguchi (Lysop in “One Piece”) as Ranma and Noriko Hidaka (Shion in “My Oni Girl”) can be heard as Akane. The streaming service Netflix shows the sequel to the Simulcast.
The twelve-part first season of the »Ranma 1/2« remake ran in Japan from October to December 2024 and is already available in Germany with German language version and in the original sound with German subtitles on call.
