
On the X account of the anime adaptation of “Wand and Sword” (Japanese: “Tsue to Tsurugi no Wistoria”), it was announced today that the second season will be broadcast on Japanese television from April 2026. You can find a first teaser below.
First season at Crunchyroll
The second “Wistoria” relay is being created under the direction of Hideaki Nakano (“Devils’ Line”) in the studios Actas and BN Pictures. Tatsuya Yoshihara (“Black Clover”) acts as a chief director, while Sayaka Ono creates the character design.
In the main roles of the Japanese speaker cast, Kouhei Amasaki (Kanshi Kazamatsuri in “Witch Watch”) as Willfort and Masaaki Mizunaka (Keisuke Baji in “Tokyo Revengers”) can be heard as Sion Ulster.
The twelve-part first season of the fantasy anime ran on Japanese television from July to September 2024 and can already be completely streamed in this country at Crunchyroll. The German Disc release starts on October 17, 2025.
