The anime adaptation of »You Can’t Be In a Rom-Com with Your Childhood Friends!« is being created by the studio Tezuka Productions (“Endo and Kobayashi Live!”). Those involved in the production, such as the director, have not yet been revealed.
The main roles of the Japanese cast include Rin Kusumi (Kaoru in “I Shall Survive Using Potions!”) as Shio Minamo and Yuu Serizawa (Mona Kawai in “Medaka Kuroiwa”) as Akari Hiodoshi. Crunchyroll is simulcasting the series.
The original manga series of the same name by Shinya Misu has been published in “Magazine Pocket” since March 2022. The publisher Kodansha has so far brought 17 volumes onto the Japanese market. The work is not available with a German translation.
