The Pokémon Company has continued the publication of its “Pokétoon” short film series with the 18th episode. We summarize below.
New episode after half a year
The anime short film series »Pokétoon: The Pokémon Cartoon Animation« made its debut in June 2020 and has so far included 17 episodes, which have been published at irregular intervals and have discussed different Pokémon with a term of around seven minutes.
After the last episode was released on February 14, 2025 and thus over half a year ago, the long overdue 18th episode celebrated its premiere last Friday. This is entitled “Can’t Take My Eyes Off Garura” and revolves around the Pokémon Kangama (Garura) and his trainer.
The Studio Colorido Kyoto was responsible for production, in which Takuya Hosogane (“Nihonbashi Koukashita R Keikaku”) directed. The character design comes from Rapparu and Andrew Prahlow’s music.
