With the opening of an official website, it was announced today that the action manga “Super Psychic Policeman Chojo” (Japanese: “Choujun! Choujou Senpai”) is getting an anime adaptation as a TV series. You can find a first visual below.
Starting next year
“Super Psychic Policeman Chojo” is directed by Junichi Yamamoto (“Haigakura”) at the Arvo Animation studio. Hayashi Mori (“Drifting Home”) is writing the script, while Masakatsu Sasaki (“16bit Sensation”) is doing the character design.
The series is scheduled to premiere on Japanese television sometime next year. However, a specific date is still open.
The original manga series of the same name was written by Shun Numa and was published in the “Weekly Shonen Jump” magazine from February 2024 to June 2025. The publishing house Shueisha published a total of eight volumes as a print version.
