On the X account of the anime adaptation of “The Invisible Man and His Soon-to-Be Wife” (Japanese: “Toumei Otoko to Ningen Onna”) it was announced today that it will be broadcast from January 8, 2026. A new visual can be found below.

“The Invisible Man and His Soon-to-Be Wife” is directed by Mitsuho Seta (“Magical Girl holoWitches!”), who also wrote the screenplay, at Studio Project No.9. The character design is designed by Kairi Unabara (“Witch Hat Atelier”).
The opening song is entitled “Ding-dong” and is written by Mao Abe (ending of “The Unwanted Undead Adventurer”), while the ending song “Hoshimegane” is contributed by Kaori Ishihara (opening song of “The Dreaming Boy is a Realist”). Crunchyroll shows the series in its original language with German subtitles in a simulcast.
The original manga series of the same name by Neko Iwatobi has been published in “Web Action” magazine since February 2021. The work is available through Egmont Manga under the title “Mr. Invisible and His Future Wife” with a German translation.
