On the official X account of the anime adaptation of “Watari-Kun’s ****** is about to collapse” (Japanese: “Watari-Kun no XX GA Hokai Sunzen”), it was announced today that it will start on July 4, 2025 in Japan. You can find two new trailers below.

“Watari-Kun’s ****** is about to collapse” is being created under the direction of Takashi Naoya (“bad leaf”), who also writes the script together with Tatzuya Takahashi (“Reborn as a Vending Machine”), in the Staple Entertainment studio. Shouko Yasuda (“Wastful Days of High School Girls”) creates the character design.
The opening song “Yuurei ni naritai”, which can be heard in the second trailer, comes from the Japanese singer Yuika (Ending song by “A Terrified Teacher at Ghoul!”) And the ending song “Ai ai ai ai ai” is contributed by Pedro. The streaming service Crunchyroll shows the series with subtitles in the Simulcast.
Naru Narumi’s original manga series of the same name appeared between April 2014 and September 2023 in the “Gekkan Young Magazine”. The work is internationally available by the Kodansha USA publisher with English translation.
