The anime adaptation of »The 100 Girlriends Who Really, Reaally, Really, Reaally Love You« (Japanese: »Kimi No Koto Ga dai dai daisuki Na 100-Nin No Kanojo) recently set up an official world record. We summarize.
Longest anime-monologist
Rentaro and his friends have been able to describe themselves as a world record holder since June 25, 2025, because the popular Romcom-Anime was officially certified by Guinness World Records for the longest monologue in a Japanese anime.
Of course, it is about the iconic final scene of the second season, in which Rentaro describes “quite detailed” with a total of 7,453 Japanese characters, which he would particularly love about each of his friends. Fittingly, Wataru Kato, the Rentaro voice actor, also accepted the award.
A special event was also announced for the celebration: On October 18, 2025, Kato presented the complete and of course unabridged version of the monologue at normal speed as part of a TV talk show. Let’s just hope that those responsible have planned enough broadcast time.
Both seasons of »The 100 Girlfriends Who Really, Really, Reaally, Really, Reaally Love You« are available in this country at the Streaming Service Crunchyroll. In May 2025, the disc release started with the first volume as a limited edition.
