Every year, Jump Festa reveals new information and future plans for some of its biggest anime franchises. To date, this has included the likes of My Hero Academia, One Pieceand too many others to count in one article. Set to arrive this December in Japan, fans are counting down the days before they are able to learn more about some of their favorite anime worlds. Unfortunately, one of the biggest anime properties to launch out of Weekly Shonen Jump is surprisingly absent from the list, and you might be shocked to see what said story is.

Let’s get the ball rolling with the main stage of Jump Festa 2026, Jump Super Stage. Once we list the anime that will be arriving, we’ll reveal the one shonen franchise that is absent, which might make your jaw hit the floor. Here is the line-up for the two biggest days of this year’s Jump Festa:

Saturday, December 20th

  • My Hero Academia
  • Gintama
  • Jujutsu Kaisen
  • Oblivion Battery
  • Blue Exorcist
  • Kaiju No. 8
  • New Prince of Tennis
  • World Trigger
  • Sakamoto Days

Sunday, December 21st

  • Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba
  • Blue Box
  • Dr. Stone
  • Spy x Family
  • And Da and
  • Bleach
  • Akane-banashi
  • Chainsaw Man
  • One Piece

Where’s Dragon Ball?

Looking at the list, you might be wondering where Goku and the Z-Fighters are and you’re not alone. With this year seeing the release of Dragon Ball Daima and the final manga chapter of Dragon Ball Super from creator Akira Toriyama, fans have been counting down the days for news surrounding the shonen series. This might not mean that Dragon Ball won’t have some role to play, but the fact that it doesn’t have a spot at the upcoming Jump Festa is a little disconcerting. While it has been hinted at that the Dragon Ball Super manga would return with artist Toyotaro at the helm, nothing has been set in stone.

When last we left the Dragon Ball franchise, Dragon Ball Daima had brought the Z-Fighters’ journey through the Demon Realm to a close. This, of course, took place after giving Vegeta a Super Saiyan 3 upgrade and finally making Super Saiyan 4 canon to the shonen franchise. Should Super’s manga make a comeback, it will be interesting to see if elements from the demon-filled environment are included.

Jump Festa’s Other Big Plans

Luckily, the main stage isn’t the only place for anime in the upcoming Jump Festa, as the anime event has both “Jump Studio” and “Jump Station” to highlight some of its biggest franchises. Let’s begin with Jump Studio, which has released its line-up for the upcoming days this December:
