The Japanese company Earth Star Entertainment announced today that the fantasy novel “The Frontier Lord Begins With Zero Subjects” (Jap.: “Ryoumin Start No Hkyou Ryoushu-Sama”) receives an anime adaptation as a TV series.

“The Frontier Lord Begins with Zero Subjects” is created under the direction of Kenichi Imaizumi (“Kingdom”) during animation studio42. Kunihiko Okada (“Black Clover”) wrote the script, while Keiichi Tsuboyama contributes the character design.
In the main roles of the Japanese speaker cast, Shion Wakayama (Momo Ayase in “Dan Da Dan”) can be heard as Alna and Kenichirou Matsuda (Jei in “Naruto”). When the anime starts is not yet known.
The original Light-Novel series of the same name from Fuurou has been published with illustrations by Kinta in Japan since October 2018. A manga adaptation from Yumbo debut in December 2018 at the “Comic Earth Star Online” website.
