On the official X account of the anime adaptation of “The Rising of the Shield Hero” (Japanese: “Tate No Yuusha No Nariagari”), it was announced today that it continues with a fifth season. You can find a first teaser below.

Specific details on the sequel, such as those involved in production or an appointment for the broadcast of the new episodes on Japanese television, are still pending. Of course we keep you up to date as usual.
The previous four seasons, whose latest ended today with the twelfth episode, were created in Studio Kinema Citrus directed by Hitoshi Haga (“Made in Abyss”). Keigo Koyanagi was responsible for the script.
The streaming service Crunchyroll offers the series with German language version and in the Japanese original sound with German subtitles on call. The publisher also publishes the anime on DVD and Blu-ray.
