On the official X-account of the Light Anime adaptation of “Potation Will Save Me” (Japanese: “Potion, Wagami Wo Tasukeru”), it was announced today that it will start on October 2, 2025 on Japanese television. There is a trailer below.

“Potation Will Save Me” is created under the direction of director Mikiko Furukawa (“Moriarty’s Perfect Crime”) in the studios Imagica Info and ImageWorks. Bermei Inazawa (“World Conquest Zvezda Plot”) takes over the music composition.
In the main roles of the Japanese cast, Kaede Hondo (Lammis in “Reborn as a Vending Machine”) can be heard as Kaede and Takeo Ootsuka (Aqua in “Oshi NO Ko”) as ASuru. A simulcast has not yet been announced.
A light anime is less a classic anime, but more an “animated manga” that brings the panels of the original to life.
The original Light Novel of the same name by Akira Iwafune has been brought to Japanese trade with illustrations by Sunaho Tobe since April 2015. The work is currently not available in German or in English.

Action:
Kaede, a normal student, ends up unexpectedly in a world full of mythical creatures. There she discovers a mysterious book with which she can use suitable ingredients to brew magic drinks. With this gift, she tries to survive in the foreign world – and maybe find the way back home.
