Through the opening of a website it was announced today that the fantasy novel “The Strongest Job is Apparently Not a Hero or a Sage, but an Appraiser (Provisional)!” is getting an anime adaptation in the form of a TV series. You can find a teaser below.

“The Strongest Job is Apparently Not a Hero” was created under the direction of director Makoto Hoshino (“Banished from the Hero’s Party”) at Studio Flad. Megumi Shimizu is writing the script, while Mihoko Ookawa and Yoshie Matsumoto are contributing character design. The start is planned for April 2026.
The main roles of the Japanese voice cast include Hisako Kanemoto (Katyusha in “Girls und Panzer”) as Hibiki Manabe and Shizuka Itou (Yoriko Kichijouji in “Oshi no Ko”) as Emalia. Kenta Miyake voices Claude.
The underlying light novel series, which has the title “Saikyou no Shokugyou wa Yuusha demo Kenja demo Naku Kanteishi (Kari) Rashii desu yo?” in the Japanese original, comes from Atekichi and has been published since February 2017 with illustrations by Shigaraki. The manga adaptation by Atsushi Takeda is available in English.
