About the Anime
Set in the fictional world of Euthania, which is mysteriously connected to modern Japan, Bact explores the coming-of-age journey of two young people seeking meaning and belonging. The short isekai film is directed by Yoshimitsu Ohashi (Code Geass: Rozé of the Recapture), with music composed by Kevin Penkin (Made in Abyss). Animation is handled by Studio Daisy.
Gigguk described the film as a personal dream come true:
“Making an anime has been a dream of mine I never thought would actually be possible, so I can’t describe how surreal it is that a day has come where I’ve achieved it. This project is the culmination of everything I’ve worked towards, through my career, through my passions, through my life journey and I cannot put into words how happy I am that the world can really see it.”
The premiere is part of GeeXProductions’ recently announced slate of original works, which also includes Soul Mart by DillonGoo and Otachan! by OtakuVS.
