TXT released the concept trailer for their fourth full-length album “The Star Chapter: TOGETHER” on HYBE Label’s YouTube channel at midnight on June 29. It is a story of those who were at odds with each other and finally choose to overcome conflict and crisis and move on together. A movie-like concept trailer was born in harmony with deep messages and sensual directing.
The video begins with a scene of a party secretly held amid a mixture of surveillance and confusion. People enjoy the party regardless of external threats, but the five members are turning their backs on each other and moving away. As security forces attack the party, the atmosphere freezes instantly, and the members wake up facing a friend suffering in the crisis.
In this process, each person’s inner self is expressed through visual elements such as elf ears, horns, thorns, odd eyes, and wings. The members, who realize the importance of each other again, strengthen their bonds by understanding the other more.
At the end of the video, a moment of silence flows as Soobin’s body rises into the air with his body stretched out. Taehyun finds Soobin trapped in a room alone with his inner eyes, and the members run towards him without hesitation. Yeonjun breaks his horns to cut through the darkness, and Beomgyu’s touch heals HUENINGKAI’s wounds. Confronting reality together, they finally embrace Soobin.
The sensual production that intersects reality with the inside, the in-depth narrative, and the enthusiastic performance of TXT, which perfectly expresses this, raise the level of immersion of viewers. In particular, it uses unrealistic objects such as horns, thorns, and wings to show the ultimate aspect of conceptuality.
In addition, elements that remind us of TXT’s past album are melted into the video to welcome MOA around the world. A scene from the music video for “Nap of a Star,” the song from their debut album “Dream Chapter: STAR,” was added, and the paper crown of the little prince in the concept trailer of “minisode 3: TOMORROW” was used as an object.
The song in “The Star Chapter: TOGETHER” is inserted as the background music of the concept trailer, which captivates the ears. Starting with an emotional acoustic guitar, the band’s increasing sound is combined with the emotional line of the character, giving a touching sound. Lyrics such as “You and I singing together along the voices of the stars,” “Lyrics of Eternity that will remember each other,” and “My name, your name, our name,” clearly show the message TXT is trying to convey.
