The following is a Q&A session about the release of the first full-length album “A Montage of ( )” with VIVIZ
Q1. It’s your first full album since your debut with VIVIZ. I think it’ll be different from your mini album. How do you feel?
Umji) A full-length album has many meanings, so I think it’s all the more precious. I think it’s an album like a stop in the middle that tells us how to look back on our tracks and how to draw our future days. Above all, I hope this album will be a satisfactory one for the fans who have waited for us.
SinB) I think the full-length album itself means a lot to artists and fans, and I think that’s why there were more trials and errors than ever. I really thought hard about it and prepared it, so I hope the fans who waited will like it.
Eunha) After our re-debut with VIVIZ, we and our fans have been really looking forward to our full-length album. I’m very happy to be able to sing a variety of songs for you, and it was very rewarding during the preparation period.
Q2. The title of the album is impressive. Please introduce the meaning of the album name “A Montage of ( )”.
VIVIZ) This album contains the aspiration that whatever we put in the parentheses, we will be able to make it our own color. I hope this album will be one that summarizes the past times and moves forward.
Q3. What kind of song is the title song, “La La Love Me”?
VIVIZ) It has many different charms. At first glance, it may sound like an exciting and refreshing summer song, but there are some twists and turns. Especially when you look at it with the stage, it’s more colorful.
Q4. What’s your favorite track among all of the songs and why?
Umji) I personally love the song “Citrus”. I liked the demo version before the lyrics were confirmed, but I really liked the lyrics, so it became a song that I cherish more.
SinB: I think it’s “Wildflower”. We pre-released the song at our concert last year, and it feels like the lyrics are about us.
Eunha) “Hands Off My Heart”. It’s catchy and attractive the more you listen to it. Especially, I think it’s a perfect match with the voice of the members.
Q5. This album contains members’ first solo songs. Please introduce your songs and tell us what to listen to.
Umji) I put a lot of effort into recording, and I hope you listen carefully to the details that made the lyrics and melody line come out. As it’s a solo song, I wanted to try a new challenge, so I decided to focus on the English lyrics.
SinB) It somehow became the most powerful song in this album. Since only my voice came out from the beginning to the end, I thought a lot about how to make it sound less boring and more dynamic. The main point to pay attention to is SinB’s voice in a powerful beat?
Eunha) I thought a lot about what kind of solo song I should sing for a long time and listened to a lot of songs, but I didn’t say, “Oh, this is it!” I thought about making it myself, and when I finished it according to my preference, I think I got a very Eunha-like solo song! I hope you can focus on the drowsy melody, colorful accompaniment, and perfect lyrics.
Q6. What was the most memorable moment in the album preparation process or a moment that gave strength to each other?
VIVIZ) Every moment and every time we prepare for each album, I feel more affection for the members. I think that all of this is completed more because of each other.
Q7. You are hosting our second world tour “NEW LEGACY” this year. What can fans waiting for VICTIZ overseas expect?
VIVIZ) We’re also looking forward to it because it’s a time where we can actually show you what you’ve been watching online from afar. I hope it’s a nice meeting with each other as much as I missed you.
Q8. What are your goals that you want to achieve through this album?
Umji) To hear that you want to keep looking for VIVIZ songs and performances.
SinB) I hope that you can recognize that VIVIZ is a group with a variety of colors, just like its name, so that you think, “VIVIZ has a new color?!”
Eunha) I want to be a group that is loved by many people.
Q9. What is the last message you want to send to your fans?
Umji) NA.VI! Finally, VIVIZ’s first full album is out. I hope it will be a memorable activity and performance for the fans who have been looking forward to it even more than us. We are also happiest when they are happy and happy! Please continue to take good care of us!
