She debuted with izna in November 2024 through the Mnet survival show I-Land 2: N/a. Just three months later, in February 2025, she halted her activities due to health concerns. At the time, the agency explained that her well-being was the top priority, stating that she needed sufficient rest and recovery before considering any return to the stage.

After six months of recuperation, the decision was made for Jiyoon to conclude her group activities. izna will now continue with six members: Mai, Bang Jeemin, Koko, Ryu Sarang, Choi Jungeun, and Jeong Saebi.
Yoon Jiyoon’s departure marks the end of her time with izna, but her contributions as the team’s main vocalist will remain part of the group’s early legacy. Fans are now looking ahead to see how izna will reshape their identity as a six-member team while wishing Yoon Jiyoon strength and success in her next chapter.
