On the official X account of the anime adaptation of “Watari-Kun’s ****** is about to collapse” (Japanese: “Watari-Kun no XX GA Hokai Sunzen”), it was announced today that the series will receive a second part. You can find a first trailer below.
Start in October 2025
The second part of »Watari-Kun’s ****** is about to Collapse« starts on October 3, 2025 on Japanese television and, like the first part, which started in July 2025, can be seen at Crunchyroll in the original tone with German subtitles in the Simulcast.
The Staple Entertainment studio is still responsible for the production of the series, in which Takashi Naoya (“bad leaf”), who also writes the script with Tatzuya Takahashi (“Reborn as a Vending Machine”).
The new opening song »Futari-Bun«, which can be heard in the trailer, comes from the band Shall, while the ending song »Shippai Shhinai Menai Menera no Sodate-Kata« is contributed by the Japanese singer Yurina Hirate.
Naru Narumi’s original manga series of the same name appeared between April 2014 and September 2023 in the “Gekkan Young Magazine”. The work is internationally available by the Kodansha USA publisher with English translation.
