Who Is Mahoraga in Jujutsu Kaisen?

Jujutsu Kaisen is an anime (and manga) that brilliantly depicts the clash of ideals between extremists and reformists. Jujutsu sorcerers seek to protect humanity and eliminate curses using cursed techniques, while curse users and curses seek to eliminate humanity. Curses, or cursed spirits, are created by the negative emotions of humans; this series does an exceptional job of actualizing the effects of unchecked human emotions which, like the curses, are a lot more complex than what appears on the surface.
Jujutsu sorcerers have seen an abundance of cursed spirits who pose around the same threat-level as a dragonfly, and then there are cursed spirits who are the exceptions, such as Jogo, Mahito, Dagon and Rika who have catastrophic and frightening abilities that can be used to claim the lives of sorcerers and non-sorcerers alike. Among these figures of terror is the Divine General Mahoraga.
Mahoraga was officially introduced in JJK Season 2, Episode 17 when Megumi Fushiguro was engaged in what appeared to be a one-sided battle against Haruta Shigemo — that was, until he used his Ten Shadows Technique to unleash Mahoraga who provided a key advantage in turning what would have been an otherwise hopeless situation in his favor.
