
The Japanese branch of Warner Bros. Entertainment announced today that the manga series »Wind Breaker« will soon receive a live action adaptation. You can see a first teaser below.
Heavy start in December 2025
The live action adaptation is a feature film that is expected to celebrate its premiere in the Japanese cinemas in December 2025. It is still unclear whether the strip is shown in this country.
Kentarou Hagiwara (Live Action adaptation of “Tokyo Ghoul”) directs the screenplay during the production of Warner Bros., while the “Japan Academy Prize” winner Yousuke Masaike (“A Girl & Her Guard Dog”) wrote the screenplay.
Satoru NII’s original manga series already inspired an anime implementation, which currently includes two seasons and is available at the streaming service Crunchyroll with German and Japanese language version.

The furin high school is known for her physically strong students, some of whom founded the Bofurin group to protect the city. Haruka Sakura, a new student who comes from outside, wants to get to the head of the school. He is determined to fight up in the Bofurin ranks.
