A few weeks ago we already reported on the planned rice field art project with Tanjiro from »Demon Slayer«. In the meantime, this extraordinary project has been successfully implemented. We summarize below.
Huge work of art
On June 14, 2025, the large -scale work of art was completed in the form of an approximately 2.8 hectare rice field within a day – this corresponds to about four and a half soccer fields. The reason for this campaign was the upcoming start of the first sequel movie from the »Demon Slayer: Infinity Castle Arc« trilogy.
As can be seen in the pictures below, Tanjiro’s image can already be clearly identified. With the further growth of rice plants over the summer, the artwork will then come into its own even more impressive.
Just in time for the Japanese cinema premiere of the first part of the “Demon Slayer: Infinity Castle Arc” film trilogy on July 18, 2025, the rice field should finally develop its full effect and inspire fans with an even clearer picture. In German cinemas, the film will start on September 18, 2025.
