On the official X-account of the anime implementation of “Yaiba: Samurai Legend” it was announced today that it continues with a second season. You can see a first teaser below.

The 24-part first season of “Yaiba: Samurai Legend” was directed by Takahiro Hasui (“Mob Psycho 100 III”) in the studio Wit. Touko Machida (“The Strongest Magician in the Demon Lord’s Army was a human”) wrote the script.
The action series ran from April 5 to September 27, 2025 at Akiba Pass TV and ADN in the Japanese original setting with German subtitles in the Simulcast. A disc release will take place through Peppermint anime in the course of next year.

Yaiba is a samurai who was trained by his father Kenjuro in the middle of the jungle. It is almost unbeatable when dealing with the sword, but completely inexperienced in social interaction. Due to an unexpected event, it goes to Tokyo, where he meets his rival.
