After we recently reported that Netflix donated a German language version of the anime implementation of “Witch Watch”, ADN has now also announced that it would create another German synchronization.
Two weeks after Omu
“Witch Watch” starts on April 6, 2025 at ADN, Netflix, Crunchyroll and Anverse in the Japanese original sound with subtitles in the Simulcast. Netflix follows its German version three weeks later, while the adn setting appears two weeks after the OMU publication of an episode.
It is not yet known whether crunchyroll and anoutse will also show the series with German dubbing. The Japanese TV broadcast of the anime extends over six months at a time (two courses).
The Studio Asahi Production is responsible for production, in which Ryuuuichi Kimura (“365 Days to the Wedding”) takes over the position of the director and Masao Kawase (“Magical Destroyer”) acts as an assistant director.
The original manga series of the same name from Kenta Shinohara has been published in the »Weekly Shonen Jump« magazine since February 2021. In Germany, the work is available by the Egmont Manga publishing house with German translation in stores.
