The streaming provider Adn announced today that the new anime adaptation of “Yaiba: Samurai Legend” has been licensed. We summarize.

“Yaiba” starts on April 5, 2025 on Japanese television and on the same day at 12:00 p.m. in the original settlement with German subtitles at ADN in the Simulcast. Further episodes will be published every Saturday at the same time.
For the production of the action anime, which is also shown at Akiba Pass TV, the studio WIT is responsible, in which Takahiro Hasui (“Mob Psycho 100 III”) takes over the position of the director.
The original manga series by “Detective Conan” author Gosho Aoyama was released from September 1988 to December 1993 in 24 volumes in Japan. A 52-part first anime implementation ran on Japanese television from April 1993 to April 1994.
