TV anime And Da and Season 2’s release date is set for July 3, 2025, as revealed in an X (formerly Twitter) post by the manga’s editor, Shihei Lin. The July 3 release date was printed on an obi for the upcoming re-release of Fire Ball!originally written by And Da and creator Yukinobu Tatsu at Kodansha and which drops on April 4. While the exact date wasn’t confirmed at the time, And Da and‘s July return had been announced with Season 2’s trailer at Jump Festa 2025. It quickly smashed two million views in mere hours, owing to Jiji’s highly anticipated transformation. His transformation scene was slightly altered in a recent promotional video celebrating the And Da and manga hitting 10 million copies in circulation. And Da and Season 2 will pick up with Okarun and Jiji unraveling the mystery sealed in the latter’s home. Meanwhile, Momo fends for herself in the hot springs. Science SARU remains in charge of animation production; Season 1 director Fuga Yamashiro will be joined by Abel Gongora as co-director. Netflix and Crunchyroll streamed And Da and in English subbed and dubbed. The latter described the series: When high schooler Momo, from a family of spirit mediums, first meets her classmate Okarun, an occult geek, they argue—Momo believes in ghosts but denies aliens, and Okarun believes in aliens but denies ghosts. When it turns out both phenomena are real, Momo awakens a hidden power and Okarun gains the power of a curse. Together, they must challenge the paranormal forces threatening their world.
