BLACKPINK’s Rosé released a new song as a movie OST.

The record label Warner Music Korea announced that Rosé released the OST “Messy” of the movie “F1 The Movie” on the 9th.

“F1 The Movie,” which will be released next month, is a movie about veteran driver “Sonny Hayes” (Brad Pitt) meeting rookie racer “Joshua Pearce” (Damson Idris) and joining forces to win the F1 team in crisis.

Amid high expectations for the starring role as Hollywood actor Brad Pitt, the OST sung by Rosé has been released, making headlines.

The music video, which was released along with the song, showed Rosé walking on an empty road or singing to the piano accompaniment. Some scenes from the movie starring Brad Pitt were also released, drawing attention.

As a result, attention is being paid to whether Rosé will be able to perform well through “Messy.”

Rosé was a global hit with the pre-released song “APT” from her first full-length album “Rosie,” which was released in October last year. She became the first K-pop female singer to enter eighth place on Billboard’s main song chart “Hot 100” in the U.S., and has maintained its third place, the highest ranking for K-pop female singer, for two consecutive weeks. Last month, it surpassed the record of 25 weeks, the longest chart for a K-pop female singer, and is setting a new record by charting for 27 consecutive weeks on the latest chart.

It also entered the UK’s official single chart in fourth place and ranked second, becoming the first K-pop female singer to win the top title, and became the first Korean female solo artist to top the US Spotify chart on Spotify, the world’s largest music site.

“Messy” sung by Rosé will also be available through the soundtrack album, which will be released on March 27. The album will include 17 songs by Korean DJ Peggy Goo, pop star Ed Sheeran and rapper Don Tolliver.
