In June 2025, Crunchyroll continued the publication of the first season of “The Apothecary Diaries” on DVD and Blu-ray. In keeping with this, the publisher recently revealed the design of the second volume that you can see below.
Second volume in June 2025
The second volume of the first “The Apothecary Diaries” relay, which contains episodes 7 to 12 in German and Japanese, is expected to appear on June 6, 2025 as DVD and Blu-ray. Mini episodes, trailers and a booklet are offered as extra.
The third volume will be available as DVD and Blu-ray in stores from August 1, 2025. The release date of the fourth and last volumes is still pending.
The studios Olm and Toho animation were responsible for the production of the 24-part first season, in which Norihiro Naganuma (“Ancient Magus’ Bride”) directed the direction. The streaming service Crunchyroll offers all episodes on call and has also shown the second season in the Simulcast since January 10, 2025.
