Enhypen will release the digital single “Loose” on Friday, agency Belift Lab announced Monday.
The band hinted at the drop on Sunday with a short form clip that showed the seven members “loosen up” in phases.
The single comes about five months after “Romance: Untold – Daydream –,” a repackage of the group’s second studio album, “Romance: Untold.” The LP sold over 3 million copies as of February, a first for the band, and the reissue set a first-week sales record for a repackage, selling more than 1.4 million copies. The LP claimed the No. 2 spot on the Billboard 200 and spent 18 more weeks on the chart.
In April, the band will make a festival debut at the Coachella Valley Music and Arts Festival, hitting the event’s stage in the shortest time since debut for a K-pop boy band.
