On the X-account of the anime adaptation of “Young Ladies Don’t Play Fighting Games” (Japanese: “Tai-Ari deshita.: Ojou-Sama Wa Kakutou Game Nante Shinai”) was published today. You can find the video below.

“Young Ladies Don’t Play Fighting Games” is created under the direction of Shouta Ibata (“Ron Kamonohashi’s Forbidden Deductions”) in the Diomedéa studio. Wataru Watari (“Parallel World Pharmacy”) wrote the script, while Mayuko Matsumoto (“Handa-Kun”) contributes to character design.

The teaser, which you can look at below in this article, announces a collaboration with the Japanese company Capcom and its beating game “Street Fighter 6”, which is played by the characters in the anime.

In the main roles of the Japanese speaker cast, Ikumi Hasegawa (Rishe in »7th Time Loop«) as Aya Mitsuki and Kana Ichinosis (Uka Ishimori in »Honey Lemon Soda«) can be heard as a Mio Yorue. Sayaka Senbondgi Support Yuu Inui. The series is expected to start on Japanese television in the course of this year.

The original manga series of the same name by Eri Ejima has been published in the »Comic Flapper« magazine since January 2020. The work is available by Seven Seas Entertainment with English translation.
