(G)I-dle will make a full-group comeback in May, according to a local media report Wednesday.
Its agency Cube Entertainment confirmed the news asking fans to keep their expectations high.
The quintet is preparing to bring out a mini album, about 10 months since the seventh EP “I Sway.” The last EP topped iTunes Top Albums Chart in 18 regions and sold over 1 million copies in the first week. The album became its third consecutive million-seller, following sixth EP “I Feel” and second LP “Two.”
Lead single from the seventh EP, “Klaxon,” earned the group first place on a television music chart show for three weeks and notched No. 1 spot on Melon’s Hot 100.
The forthcoming album will be its first endeavor since all members renewed their contracts with the agency in December last year.
Meanwhile, (G)I-dle will join the lineup for Summer Sonic 2025 and perform in Tokyo on Aug. 16 and in Osaka the following day.
