The opening of an official website today announced that the Romance Manga series “In the Clear Moonlit Dusk” (Japanese: “Uruwashi No Yoi No Tsuki”) receives an anime adaptation in the form of a TV series. You can find a first visual below.
Start in January 2026
“In the Clear Moonlit Dusk” is created under the direction of Yuusuke Maruyama (episode Director at “Akatsuki No Yona”) in the studio East Fish. Ayumu Hisao (“I’m in Love with the villain”) writes the script, while Yuki Fukuda contributes the character design. The series starts on Japanese television in January 2026.
In the main roles of the Japanese cast, Ryouta Suzuki (Red in “Banished from the Hero’s Party, I Decided to Live A Quiet Life in the Countryside”) as Kohaku ichimura and rei ichinomiya as Yoi Takiguchi.
The original manga series of the same name by Mika Yamamori has been published in Kodansha in Japan since July 2020. The Romance plant is available in German by Crunchyroll under the title “Mooning Over You”.
