Nintendo has announced Kirby Air Ridersa new racing game set to launch exclusively on the Nintendo Switch 2 in 2025. This title marks the return of the beloved Kirby Air Ride series after more than two decades. The game is directed by the legendary Masahiro Sakurai, the original creator of Kirby and the Super Smash Bros. series.
The announcement was made during Nintendo’s recent Switch 2 Direct presentation, which also unveiled other major titles like Hyrule Warriors: Age of Imprisonment, Donkey Kong Bananza and The Duskbloods by FromSoftware.
