On the official X account of the anime adaptation of “Uglymug, Epicfighter” (Japanese: “Busamen Gachi Fighter”), it was announced today that it starts on July 6, 2025 on Japanese television. You can find a new teaser below.

“Uglymug, Epicfighter” is produced under the direction of Toshiyuki Sone (Episode Director at “Mars Red”) in the studio White Fox. Kenta Ihara (“Ishura”) writes the script, while Miki Matsumoto contributes the character design.
In the main roles of the Japanese speaker cast, Junichi Suwabe (Shouta aizawa in “My Hero Academia”) as Shigeru Yoshioka and Konomi Inagaki (Idora Arvoln in “The Red Ranger Becomes in Adventer in Another World”) can be heard.
The original web-Novel of the same name by Ryou Hiromatsu was published in Japan from February 2015 to October 2022. A manga adaptation from Osamu Kouzuki is through manga up! Global available in English.
