Le Sserafim’s fifth EP went gold in Japan for logging 100,000 shipments, according to the Recording Industry Association of Japan on Thursday.
The EP “Hot” achieved the feat in March and became the group’s fourth consecutive Korean album to do so, joining its first studio album “Unforgiven” and third and fourth EPs “Easy” and “Crazy.”
The mini album debuted atop Oricon’s Daily Album Ranking as did all five previous Korean albums. It also ranked No. 1 on Oricon’s Weekly Digital Album Ranking. The EP hit the Billboard 200 at No. 9, making it among the top ten on the main albums chart for the fourth time.
In the meantime, the group of five will launch its first international tour, “Easy Crazy Hot,” on April 19 with a concert in Incheon, Korea.
