Through entries on the website and in the Netflix apps, it was announced today that the streaming service will soon take the anime classic “Naruto” and his successor “Naruto Shippuden” out of the program. We summarize.

By the end of April 2025

“Naruto” and “Naruto Shippuden” can therefore only be streamed with German subtitles on Netflix until April 30, 2025 with German synchronization or in the Japanese original sound. If the license is not extended in time, both series are no longer available after this date.

If you prefer to watch the anime adaptation of the Masashi Kishimoto manga of the same name without a time pressure, you can still find it at Crunchyroll, Prime Video, RTL+, Toggo, Joyn and Anverse.

In addition, all 720 episodes are already available on DVD and Blu-ray with German and Japanese voice output from the publisher KSM anime.
