A new trailer in which the ending song was presented was published on the official X account of the anime implementation of “Miss Kobayashi’s Dragon Maid” (Japanese: “Kobayashi-San Chi No MaiDragon”). You can find the video below.
Start in June 2025
The sequel film is entitled “Miss Kobayashi’s Dragon Maid: A Lonely Dragon Wants to Be Loved” and is directed by Tatsuya Ishihara (“Sound! Euphonium”) in the studio Kyoto Animation. Yuka Yamada (»Slow Loop«) wrote the script.
The ending song “Bokutachi No Hibi”, which can be heard in the trailer, comes from Sachiko Kobayashi (ending of “Pokémon”), while the insert song “Negaigoto” is sung by Kotringo. The Japanese theatrical release takes place on June 27, 2025.
So far, the anime implementation of “Miss Kobayashi’s Dragon Maid” consists of two TV relays as well as various OVA episodes, which can be viewed with German and Japanese setting at the crunchy roll streaming service.
